I was surprised when my conquistadors brought back several trade goods, because some of which I had never even seen before. I even saw ostrich eggs! Along with the exciting African spices such as the malagueta pepper, my conquistadors also brought slaves, as they always do.
In return for these wonderful trade items, we gave them a little gold, silver, corn, sugar, and potatoes. The business seems to be good so far, and the Transatlantic Slave Trade is running smoothly to keep a continuous flow of goods coming in. At this rate, I can't wait to see what exotic things they bring back next time!

Gold was precious and treasured. Sugarcane was harvested into sugar. Many corn fields produced corn, and some slaves were used to work in the corn and sugarcane fields. Malagueta pepper was used to make spices, and ostcich eggs could be used as decoration or food.
